Inaugurating the logo and office of State Level Boys and Girls Sport Meet 2014-15. With a grant of Rs. 10 lakh



Support and encouragement rises confidence level in athletes a step in that direction is working at the grass root level, one such initiative is encouraging them early at schools, it gives me a whole lot of satisfaction being able to be part of such initiative, the logo and office of State Level Boys and Girls Sport Meet 2014-15 at Girls Government PU College, was unveiled on October 22nd. in the presence of CMC President P.Yuvraj; TP President Sunitha Nayak; T.P Vice President Ganesh Kumar; CMC Member Ramesh Kanchan, DC SS Pattana Shetty; ADC Kumar; SP Rajendra Prasad; RTO Arun Kumar Singh; Principal Radha Mani; Sitharam Shetty, President District Physical Education Teachers Association,Diwakar Shetty, Deputy Director Department of Public Instruction, Vishwanath Bayari and Sathish Chitrapadi.

The continuous support and encouragement to Athletes rises their confidence level which is key factor for achieving good results. The District Administration has been constantly focusing on promoting sports in the district. The sports activities ofUdupi District is fast becoming the model to other districts in Karnataka. The athletes too on their part have made us proud by winning in State, National and International level Sports meet.

A grant of rupees 10 lakh will be released to the State Level Boys and Girls Sport Meet 2014-15 from the Urban Development Department to encourage sporting activity at districtlevel.

over 3000 and more athletes are expected to participating in the State Level Boys and Girls Sport Meet 2014-15.  

Diwakar Shetty, Deputy Director Department of Public Instruction welcomed the gathering. Vishwanath Bayari delivered the vote of thanks. Sathish Chitrapadi compered the programme.
